Santa!

We just came back from a busy afternoon. We picked the kids up from school early because they had their yearly physicals planned. Robin's teacher actually brought her out because she wanted to express how happy she was with the gift Robin had brought (painting plus book) Aww :-)

So off we went to Longmeadow for a looong doc visit. First lots of waiting, i had to fill out a total of 8 forms i believe with everyones info on it plus dates of birth and such. Jeez..how tiring that can be when there's kids allover you. I kept forgetting their birth dates and middle initials and such! ;-)

Kel came along too though so he kept the kids busy while i kept writing. R&R both needed a physical, Quinn didn't, but he had not had his H1N1 vaccine yet and luckily they were able to squeeze him in. R&R got their regular flu shot since they had the other at school, so now all 3 kids have their complete vaccinations! hooray! i feel like we should be receiving a prize now we achieved this. I guess the price of not getting the flu wouldn't be bad then!

After we got out, it was dark & late enough to stop by Bright nights. In case your not familiar, it's a big display of Christmas light in a park in Springfield. We visit each year and since we were in the neighbourhood now, we decided to go today.

Much to the kids delight, we stopped by Santa's place there, so they could go and see him. Man, I have not seen them run this fast in a while. Quinn especially. He was heavily impressed with Santa.

We got home tired and hungry, luckily i had been smart enough to make spaghetti sauce ahead of time (Smart housewife eh? June Cleaver's got nothing on me!) so we were able to eat quickly and send the kids off to bed. Tomorrow another busy day, so it's time to chill out now.
