and a week later..

The weather was simply fantastic this weekend!

60 degrees yesterday (16 Celsius) and today nearly 60. Yay! Most of that darned snow from last Monday is gone now, as a result, the backyard is a mud pool. As a result of that, I've been doing a lot of laundry this weekend. ;-)

But it's all good, the kids actually wanted to be outside, which is great so I don't have to come up with all sorts of schemes to get them there.

So, Kelvin had a day off yesterday. He had one vacation day left from last day which his boss had kindly reminded him off so he "had" to take it this weekend. Not a bad day yesterday to take the day off. So we hung around outside and hit Groff park again for the first time this season.

Today was another great day and the kids again spent most of it outside. They even played with Annabel & Rupert because Melanie swung by.
