more beach..

We couldn't help ourselves..

Wednesday was a crazy hot and humid day, especially for may! 97 degrees (that's 36 Celsius!, sorry for you folks in cold Holland!) ans it must have felt much hotter. A great excuse for no school, who want to send their kids to be baked alive when they don't really have to?

So we left early for CT, and came back after dark. So we never really knew how terribly hot it felt at the height of the day, since we were enjoying ourselves in the ocean, and it is always about 10 degrees cooler there anyway. (and it was hot there too!).

The next day at the bus stop, we heard how terrible it had been in school, so I didn't feel the slightest bit guilty. ;-)

I cannot believe the incredible weather we have been having this spring. It's been almost non stop summer. Can't wait for summer vacation (or well, the first one or 2 weeks at least, having kids at home all day gets old quick..) so we can go to the beach without having to play hooky. Hopefully the weather won't suddenly get cold then..heehee
