Quintin's 2nd birthday celebration

His birthday is today, but since Kelvin couldn't get the day off, we celebrated yesterday.

Which was great because the weather was nice (today is rain).

The day started off a bit slow, R&R were in a bad mood, especially Robin, because i think they were a bit jealous. Robin kept annoying Quintin by rushing him to unwrap all his presents.

Eventually, they came around though, but it was a bit annoying. Quintin really took the time out to play with each present. Some things he got: A teal colored (p)leather jacket, sweaters, new shoes v(oma & opa), a Holly look a like hand puppet (opa & oma), some farm animals, a wonderpets toy, a car..

We had cake at around 11.00 am, and then we headed to look park, after i made us some sandwiches to eat there.

We spent the day at Look park, picnicking, playing, walking, riding pedal boats (darn..my back still hurts!), and riding the train. Before we got in the car we had some more cupcakes, and, as soon as we drove out of the parking lot, it started to rain! Talk about good timing!

Since it was darkish, we were able to get away with getting everyone in bed at 7.00 (Quinn was exhausted, missed nap) and we chilled out the rest of the night with dvd's.

Check out the pictures here, the last 4 orso are videos, perhaps a bit boring to most, since Quinn is spending a lot of time investigating his presents, but it's cute though. (if you're into that..)

Notice how Quintin barely smiles in any pictures, but that is just who he is, a serious child indeed, he did have fun! :-)
