We took Robin to the opthomologist today (see pic), to see how the glasses have been helping her. As we already thought, not a whole lot. Here eyes are still drifting off quite a lot. We figured we'd ask about a surgery, it sucks, but trying out all sorts of things that don't work sucks more. Best to get it over with. The doc saw this as the only option as well, so we will be making an appointment soon.
It won't be a really big deal, she'll be in and out and the recovery is pretty quick, she will have sensitive eyes for a few days, but could do whatever she feels up to doing. They also mentioned that because of medication, she may have an upset stomach for a bit. Hopefully it won't bother her too much. I'm a bit nervous for her, but would also just like to get it over with. Afterwards, there's a 50% chance she may not need her glasses anymore at all, and if she does, it may not be forever. We'll see how it goes..
