And a busy one it was!
Raul had his end of the year performance, the Three piggy opera, on Wednesday, so Kel, Quin and I headed out to see it.
It was so very cute! Raul was pretty nervous i noticed, but he did really well. It was quite a long musical with a lot of singing parts for all the kids, but they did great!
Here are a couple of videos from Raul's performance:
Then on Friday, we headed out for Robin's Kindergarten graduation.
The kids had studied a few songs as well and they performed the Pledge of allegiance, You're a grand old flag, and a few other songs. They also each had a turn at the mic to tell us what they wanted to be when they grow up. Robin wants to be a teacher. :-)
At one point while singing with wild gestures, Robin's friend Jeremy, hit her with his hand by accident. No biggie, but after a while it seemed he was upset about it. Robin decided to comfort him, so sweet! Luckily, Kel caught some on camera. Unfortunately, not the "incident", as it was quite hilarious.
Here are some videos of Robin's performance:
Afterwards, the kids got ice cream and played outside in the playground a bit more.
Robin seems to have mixed feelings about school ending. She seemed pretty sad about not seeing Mrs B anymore for a while, although every day for the past few months I've had to hear from Robin how she hates school and doesn't like "to do jobs" at school. :-p
The drama...
I took a couple of pictures as well which you can find here.
